iopool pH Minus Powder – 5 kg is a sodium hydrogen sulfate-based pool water treatment designed to lower the pH when it becomes too high.
Maintaining a balanced pH helps support effective disinfection and comfortable swimming conditions.
When should you use pH Minus?
Use pH Minus when water testing shows that your pool's pH is above the recommended range.
An excessively high pH can reduce disinfectant effectiveness and contribute to cloudy water.
pH Minus powder dosage
According to the product label, 100 g per 10 m³ of water lowers the pH by 0.1.
This is a reference dosage. The actual quantity required depends on the initial pH and water conditions.
Measure the pH regularly and test again after treatment. If the pH exceeds 7.8, the label recommends lowering it gradually over several days.
How to use pH Minus powder

Measure your pool's pH using a suitable testing device.

Turn on the pool filtration system.

Add the required amount of powder to a container of hot water and dissolve it. Always add the product to water, never water to the product.

Pour the diluted solution along the pool walls, spreading it as evenly as possible while no swimmers are present.

Check the pH again before making any further adjustments.
